Our Church History

Meadow Heights was founded in 1951 as a mission from the Unity Roselawn Baptist Church. The church originally met in a refurbished gas station, which still exists today but has been converted to educational space.   The church property has expanded greatly since then, evolving into a campus style containing an educational building, activity hall, gymnasium, and separte office facility.

Historically, Meadow Heights has largely enjoyed a lengthy tenure with her senior pastors. Rev.  Bill Richardson was the first pastor called by Meadow Heights (5 years), followed by Rev. Jim Doom (8 years) ,  Rev. Dale Clemens (27 years) who left Meadow Heights to retire from the ministry, Rev. Brent Cloyd (2 years), and Dr. James Donahue (10 years). Most recently, we were blessed by Pastor Mike Barnes, who passed away suddenly in 2015 after being with us for 3 years and Rev. Robert Strong (5 years).
